Our products are 'Cruelty-free' and hence not tested on animals, but on humans. Additionally, besides doing all the lab tests required by BIS (Bureau of Indian Standard), we ensure our products go through further rigorous testing to make them even more safe than the standards set by the industry.

Thanks to the antioxidant ingredients, our makeup is self-preserving. Additionally, a special heating and cooling process during the formulation ensures our products stay longer. asa products are usable for 12-18 months.

Yes you can buy only refills, however please ensure you have a case or a magnetic palette to store it.

We do not have any offline stores as of now. But we do have plans to open them soon.

The Mica we use in our products is Eco-certified, so you can be assured it is sourced ethically.

Since our products are made with natural ingredients, they are temperature sensitive. It is ideal to store them below 25 degree Celcius.  

asa products do not contain Paraben, Sulphates, Petrochemicals, Mineral oil, TEA, Palm, Carmine, Formaldehyde, Pre-mix bases, Urea, Ammonia, EDTA, Toluene, DEA, MEA and Triclosan. To know more about each of these ingredients, you may want to check our 'Glossary' section on the site.

Shades

asa's highly pigmented range of Hydra-Matte lipsticks give an intense colour pay-off while using Argan Oil and Shea Butter to reduce damage and repair dry patches on your lips. A quick fix to discoloured lips, would be to apply your shade of concealer to neutralise the colour of your lips, followed by the lipstick.

Yes. No technique is right or wrong, it entirely depends on what you feel good with. For those with extreme cases of uneven skin tone, using concealer first might help even out base and then the foundation can be applied on top.

Applying the asa translucent powder as a finising step to your regular makeup gives you a natural glow all day long. It not only mattifies the skin by soaking up excess oil but will also set your makeup for a longer wear.

Exposing your skin to harmful ingredients like parabens and sulphates can damage it in the long run. We, at asa, follow a very strict 'no' list for our products and source natural and safe ingredients that nourish your skin. We belive that makeup should be with the benefits of skincare. Properly removing your makeup are also key to maintaining damage-free skin.

With mascara, the golden rule to follow is - less is more. You can also apply a second coat of mascara before your first coat is completely dry. Clumpy lashes are usualy the result of applying too many coats or faulty formula. Our blend of Castor, Jojoba and Olive oil not just strenghten your lashes but also provide for a smooth application.

We have ensured that our blend of ingredients including Green Tea, Argan Oil and Vitamin E have the power to enrich and protect all skin types. Powder foundations absorb sweat to give a mattifying effect, ensuring that makeup to you feels like second skin.

Asa has an extremely stringent 'No' list which consists of comodogenic ingredients such as Silicon, Coconut Oil and Ethanolamines which are responsible for clogged pores through makeup.

No. Our Powder Foundation has a blend of ingredients like Kokum Butter and Green Tea Leaf which has powers to prevent damage to your skin. But, it is important to remember that this cannot be interchanged for suncreen. Applying suncreen every morning cannot be replaced by any of our products.

Our unique Refill Programme has especially been created keeping in mind sustainably practices and to make sure you have the means to continue purchashing our products in the most ecological way, time after time. We suggest making your first purchase with a case so as to make storing and recycling easier in the long run.

We, at asa, believe that our products should be used however deemed fit by our customers. Our Luminising Powder can be used by itself and also to set your liquid foundation.  

Owing to their all-natural formula, asa's products are not water proof but can provide resistance to water.

No, as of now, asa's diverse product range does not include essential oils.

Asa's stringent "NO" list and carefully crafted formulations does not compromise on pay off thanks to our self-preserving natural ingredients including organic antioxidants. Our production also employs a special heating and cooling process which ensures our products stays fresh for every use and usable upto 18 months unopened and up to 12 months after your first usage.

Yes. asa beauty products are formulated to be more than 92% natural, vegan and completely free of any animal testing, We have also gone a step beyond to ensure the paper used in our packaging is FSC certified, ensuring the safety of endangered species and the indigenous. Our alumnium casings also eliminate the use of plastic in all our internal processes.

A 'natural' product can be defined as something that is derived from plant, mineral or animal by-products. The term 'organic' refers to how an ingredient is farmed i.e., it must be prepared and grown without pesticides, chemical fertilizers, GMOs, sulphates/parabens or antibiotics. Asa products are more than 92% natural which refers to our natural formulations and the use of safe synthetics for our products.

Asa believes in the value of compassion towards animals which is why our products are not tested on animals and are completely vegan. However, we have done all the required lab tests by Bureau of Indian Standard and human volunteer testing.
